PLEIN AIR PAINT OUT

The Cary Gallery of Artists located in Ashworth Square in downtown Cary, NC at 200 S Academy Street is hosting a Plein Air Paint Out on Saturday, Sept 27. 2008. The works will be completed during the day in a designated area of downtown Cary and work will be completed between 9AM and 5PM on that date(alternate rain date is Sunday, Sept. 28) Works will be submitted to the gallery and will be judged by Jirl Petrek, owner of the Russian Gallery. Cash prizes of $100.00 first prize, $75.00 second prize and $25.00 third prize will be awarded. Works will be displayed at the gallery and a reception on Oct 4 from 5PM until 7PM will be held to host the artists and award prizes.
