Opportunities for Artists

This page is for the listing of shows, exhibitions, places to display art, etc. that are open to all artists.  The listing of one person shows should go on the Member Honors and Exhibits page, not here.

Please hold the listings to a single paragraph of no more than 200 words.  Provide location, time and contact information.  It's OK to show the amount of prize money here.  Use the hyperlink function of the Editme editor to create hot links where appropriate.

Put the newest listing at the top of the page, and feel free to delete any listing that is no longer current.

Chance to donate to a worthwhile project, while getting publicity for your artwork:

Silent Auction, March 8, 2008, 4 to 7, music, drinks and hors d'oevres, at the Parrish Cares Home Tour and showcase of art, in the new Lakeside at Weaver's Pond Subdivision. Seeking donations of North Carolina artists artwork to benefit the building fund for the Zebulon Boys and Girls Club.  Submissions will be accepted in February.

Individual Artist Exhibits: 

FALC coordinates exhibits for individual member artists at the Daily Perk Coffee Co. on Lake Pine Drive just north of US 64.  If you are interested in exhibiting in the future, please contact Kate Cook at 387-9805 to reserve a time slot to display. 08/09/2007

Carolina Silver Co. is looking for individual artists to display artwork in their store (1267 Kildaire Farm Road, Cary, NC) for 1 to 2 months at a time and then move it to the Raleigh store.  Contact Debbie Vaughn, 465-3235 for details.
